cabo

Another nugget from our vacation. Eric and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Cabo. What a blessing for us to have this opportunity. We left the kids with my parents and headed to Mexico. We stayed at the most beautiful place!
The big picture (above) is the view from our room over looking the Sea of Cortez and the resort pool. I have to tell you about the little tradition my hubby has on our anniversary. Every year we've been married, he gets me white roses representing the number of years we've been married (totally romantic, huh?). White roses are my favorite flower. He's so cute, every year he goes to buy me the flowers, the florists give him a hard time about the number he is purchasing. They say things like, "why don't you just add 2 more?" hee hee Anyhow, we were down at he pool all day on our anniversary and we come back to the room to get cleaned up for dinner. I walk into the room to find this gorgeous bouquet of roses! I was so in love with my man that even though we were in a different country, he had arranged to maintain his tradition. I, of course, was totally in love and he was all disappointed because they had brought pink roses instead of white.
How much does my hubby ROCK?
We had a wonderful anniversary. As we laid by the pool relaxing, we would talk about our wedding day and all the things we had been through in these 10 short years... all I can say is, God is good. The Lord has brought us so far in our marriage, our friendship, and as individuals. We kept praising God and asking for 50 more years together. I am so thankful for my hubby and even more thankful that God knew we needed each other.

Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
its jealousy unyielding as the grave.
It burns like blazing fire,
like a mighty flame.
Many waters cannot quench love,
rivers cannot wash it away.
Song of Solomon 8:6-7
I love you, Jo.
