There are those who have never owned a car.Yes, economically times are tough and that leads people down an emotional road full of guilt, anger, frustration, pride, stubbornness, sadness, and hopelessness. My heart has been heavy for those that are already in "that place". A place of despair, hunger and homelessness. Being without a place to sleep, not knowing where their next meal will come from, sacrificing all they have for an ounce of peace...this is a way of life for many around the world. There is always someone who has less than you and there is always someone who has more. Step outside of yourself and your circumstances for one minute, put yourself in their shoes... how can you help? What can you do to make one persons life a little easier? Focus on another human being and your problems will get smaller.
There are those that have never stepped foot into a grocery store.
There are those who have never tasted coffee let alone sipped on a Grande Decaf-shaken-not-stirred-flipped-upsidedown-whatever.
There are those that wear the same clothes every single day.
There are those who have never left their city or village.

This is a great post. And a great cause. I have been to a third world country and it's true that the other half of the world lives in such poverty compared to us Americans. We are so blessed but we should also remember those who aren't.

Now is a time to 'sew' more than 'reap'.
The blessings that come from helping others will fill any void we might feel in our pockets!
I is quite bad here in South Africa...the mission station that we run is presently filled to capacity with 450 people that have nowhere else to go.
